Dante Posh starts by addressing the many reasons that individuals may enjoy enemas: everything from health reasons to medical fetish play, and, of course, some just like the physical sensations. By showing the items necessary for an enema, and then describing the procedure step by step (including safety tips); she gives a great basic introduction to this ‘invasive’ kind of play.

Fascinating reasons for enema play! Glad you mentioned hemorrhoids too… Thanks for another great video.
@Rick Hemorroids is a fact of enema/anal play.. if people don’t talk about it, then they won’t know about it. Let’s talk more! :)
i was immediately concerned when you mentioned using enemas for weight control. that sounds quite unhealthy and made me skeptical about the rest of the presentation. i was also confused when you said the first of three enemas is just to clean out the rectum. if the rectum averages only 5-10 inches in length, then you certainly don’t need an entire bag to clean out the rectum. how much do you need? it sounded like you were saying you need the entire bag. i’m also concerned about your vague discussion of “additives.” i know next to nothing about enema play, but i do know that anything added to the rectum is quickly absorbed into the bloodstream–an important safety point that wasn’t mentioned. advocating anything other than plain water sounds dangerous to me, especially for beginning play. to find out more i googled it and found an excellent link: http://www.enemabag.com/enema_solutions.html i would particularly look at the section on using filtered water and on the risks of using soap.
please be careful and fully research any type of play before you engage in it.
I just gave myself my first ever enema and it was very simple. I bought one at rite aid, it came in a twin pack and I used one. It is a disposable bottle made of soft plastic filled with a saline solution and comes with a lubricated tip. I added some almond oil to my anus because it is natural and it’s safe to use oil based lube in the anus – but I’m sure you could use whatever lube works best for you – and followed the instructions on the package. It said to lean over on my elbows and provided an illustration, and it said to stay there until I “felt a strong urge for elimination,” and that is what I did.
I took a bath beforehand because I was nervous and wanted to relax, then after I was finished “eliminating” – and I waited until I was absolutely sure I was done – I took another bath to relax and clean up any lube, etc.
The purpose of the enema in this case was to feel clean before engaging in anal play, and it worked very well. And it was very simple and standardized!
This video, on the other hand, is unclear and therefore I would deem it unsafe and would hope that those in charge of KinkAcademy will watch this and consider the possibility of removing it. And also, using laxatives for weight control is a form of eating disorder and should not be promoted on this site.

This video also has some very good tips. I also didn’t realize that I should removed the saline solution (which is a laxative) and just use warm water. I also didn’t wait two hours. Next time!
It also does suggest the possible use of soap, and for that I would say only use a little bit of Dr. B’s, but not Ivory Soap. Many people thing Ivory Soap is gentle, but the gentlest soap is natural soap and the anus’s mucuous membranes, flora, pH, etc. could be negatively affected by the chemicals in unnatural soap.
Okay, I am done pontificating for now.
