One Response to “Introduction to Sexual Orientation Part 2”

Another example of ways you can be an Ally that I forgot to mention is to join a group. PFLAG, or Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, has chapters in various areas of the US (and not just the cities… small town America too!) and parts of Canada (and I believe in other countries as well). It’s a wonderful group that gives support to those who love or care about GLBTQ folk and helps fight for full equality. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age, gender, or orientation, and you don’t already have to know a GLBT or Q person to join. They were quite helpful to me when I was just figuring out my orientation. http://www.pflag.org is their website.
