In this 5-minute, third part video on holistic sexuality, Sheri Winston accentuates sound, which amplifies your sexual experience. Sheri challenges you to break through any of your sound inhibitions by offering a multitude of suggestions (allow yourself to make small sounds, explore a variety of sounds, etc.). She also highlights the many values of sound (vibration, turn-on, method of communication, mind-body connector, etc.).

One Response to “Holistic Sexuality – Part 3 – Sound”

Great point about breathing enhancing the sounds that you make during sex. It can be awkward to start making erotic whimpers and groans, especially if you’re feeling self conscious or not terribly in the mood. I find that if I incorporate the kinds of breathing Sheri talks about, the sounds come more naturally. And she is correct, sound DO enhance the sexual experience!
Ha, speaking of which, I slept with the guy once in high school and he was dead silent the entire time. It was pretty weird and really hard to get aroused. Ever since, I’ve encouraged my partners to also express their pleasure with their voice. Hearing them emote turns me on and let’s me know what’s working for them and what’s not.
Hooray for body language! I’m really enjoying this series.
