I just finished watching this whole series and while I’ve never experience public humiliation such as you described I can say that I would totally get off on it. I’m an exhibitionist myself and KM doesn’t care what the world thinks so this would be a perfect way to bring in both ideas and OMG the pleasure.
I mean we do humiliation while out in public but it’s normally hidden or subtle. Iowa is nothing like Boston (like your story). People are likely to wave at you down the street even if they don’t know you. It makes for less inner-centric people and more ways to be discovered.

Frankly, this presentation was astonishing! I just cannot imagine anyone being able to do this in my country.
I think its essential for the ambitious Dom to reflect on what they could get away with in her/ his community before doing a public humiliation scene. I am sure that if anyone carried out (for example) the shoe shop humiliation routine where I lived, the Dom and the sub would be ejected onto the sidewalk (or pavement, as we say around here) and the Police would be summoned to deal with what is called ‘Conduct Likely to Cause a Breach of the Peace”
