Dov continues his series on flogging with this 6-minute video. He demonstrates various positions for holding the flogger (your wrist will dictate what is best for you), and then he shows two different throws: a snap throw and a more complex, compressed Figure 8 throw. Dov explains how to throw the flogger without hitting yourself as well!

Great video Dov. I have never really considered the ‘energy’ of the flogger and how it WANTS to go a certain way and just moving with that energy. I will definitely pay more attention to that. I am known to hit myself with my flogger!!
Maybe this is covered in another video, but I like the technique of standing closer to your bottom, with your hand perpendicular to their back or ass, and just doing a continuous, nonstop twirl. It’s more sensual than painful. You do have to be careful about accidentally striking their face, so make sure their head is turned away and protect their head with your free arm.
It’s also important for newbies to know this — don’t “cheap out” on buying a good quality flogger. A good flogger will make an amateur look like a pro. A bad flogger will get the strands wanting to tie up, where you’ll have to shake it loose all of the time.
This was a really useful introduction to flogging. Definitely some things to take into consideration when I get into flogging as a top.
Neato!
