Panther Prowls teaches and performs four-count Florentine flogging during this four-minute video. Since this is an advanced technique, he first describes what you need to know prior to performing the four-count. He takes you through the process very slowly and then shows off the beauty of the technique on his demo bottom. Panther Prowls recommends patience, practice, and more practice!

I am so thankful you made this video!!! It removes much of the confusion I had about this technique!
Yeah, Florentine is tricky stuff. We actually have been filming more on this topic with more Flogging Experts in LA. Hopefully having a variety of approaches and perspectives will help everyone get this spiffy technique down.
I never thought I could do a florentine style of flogging. Thanks to PantherProwls I am starting to get the hang of it. Keep up the great work.
oh this is great. Hopefully with practice I will stop smacking myself in the head or getting my floggers all tangled up!!
What is the difference between this and a double Florentine flogging? ˆwas under the impression that they were both the same thing.
@Master William – “Double Florentine” is a term sometimes used for the 6 count florentine pattern I use, I’ve also heard it called “Advanced Florentine” as well. Like so many terms in WIITWD, it may have various meaning depending on who is teaching and what they learned, or even the region in which you are learning a technique. For those who have experience with poi (firespinning), some of the folks I know who spin poi call the same pattern a “5 count”. I realize this may not be the answer you were looking for, but with the wide variety or terms and meanings in kink, it’s probably as precise an answer as any.
Thank you.

Thank you for clarifying that. I was always under the impression that as long as there were two floggers that it was a double florentine.
Thank you for the video, definitely clarifies things for me…I come from doing poi and what I was doing was slightly off but I couldn’t figure out where, sorted it out perfectly!
I also come from a background of poi, and what I found interesting was that when I learned SIX-count florentine at a workshop in Chicago I could do it…right up until the floggers came in contact with the sub’s back. Then for some reason my hands reverted to 4-count! It has remained frustrating to this day. Guess we just need more practice…
