Someone should make a Kink-on-a-Budget curriculum. I would if I had more time! :)
OMG, LOVE THIS! This is definitely Something New for me and I love that! What great ideas and such a lot of information, all with the eye and ear candy of snapping rubber and squeals!
Some people are allergic to the rubber the old fashioned bands are made of. While someone with a latex allergy should note it in negotiation it might be easy to overlook that it applies here.
The silicone bands are latex free from what I know but I don’t have experience with them.
@Lada MacManus-
That’s an interesting point. Latex allergy causing sensitivity to rubber bands is not something that I have run into, but certainly possible…
According to MayoClinic.com:
“Rarely, some people who are sensitive to latex also may react to other rubber products, including erasers, rubber toy parts, rubber bands, rubber in medical devices and rubber in the elastic in clothing.”
Thanks!
Chey
Another “heavier” rubber band play can be done with the large thick rubber bands they use to hold together broccoli. A particularly mean dom in Pittsburgh loves to do “broccoli band” play, especially since she can pull them out and they look *so* innocuous…
Good point on the latex allergy!
I bet this is extra fun with hairy subs!!
